Strawberry Pretzel Jello Salad with a Creamy Cheesecake Layer

Ingredients

• crushed pretzels
• melted butter
• cream cheese
• whipped topping
• sugar
• vanilla extract
• strawberry gelatin
• boiling water
• fresh strawberries

Instructions

1. Crush pretzels finely but leave small chunks for texture.
2. Mix pretzel crumbs with melted butter to form the crust.
3. Press pretzel mixture firmly into the pan to create an even layer.
4. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then fold in whipped topping.
5. Spread cream cheese mixture over the pretzel crust.
6. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water, let cool slightly.
7. Add fresh strawberries to cooled gelatin.
8. Pour strawberry gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer carefully.
9. Chill each layer adequately to set before adding the next.
