Ingredients
Scale:
1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil or sesame oil
Optional: sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Optional: assorted vegetables for stir-fry
Instructions
Whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and oil in a medium bowl.
Place chicken thighs in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a skillet over high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and sear for about 4 minutes on each side.
Reduce heat to medium, pour in remaining marinade, and simmer until chicken is fully cooked and sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
Optional: Add favorite vegetables and stir-fry until crisp-tender.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
