Ingredients
Scale:
Bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
Mix together 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon each of onion powder and paprika, and a teaspoon of Dijon mustard to create the marinade.
Marinate the pork chops in the mixture for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours. Turn the chops halfway through the marinating time.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange the marinated pork chops on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
About 10 minutes before the chops are done, brush with a glaze made from 2 tablespoons of melted butter and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. Return to the oven.
Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes if a caramelized crust is desired.
Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
